Peaked Pies Inc. (“Peaked Pies,” “we,” “our,” “us”) operates peakedpies.com and bakery-cafés in Whistler, Vancouver, and Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. We are a private-sector organization subject to British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act(PIPA) and, for commercial e-mails, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation(CASL).

We do not request payment card numbers or government IDs from peakedpies.com. Orders placed through Food.ee are governed by Food.ee’s own privacy policy; Peaked Pies receives only the information necessary to cook and deliver your meal. (Foodee)
3. How We Use Your Information
1. Answer inquiries and keep a record of correspondence.
2. Prepare and deliver orders you place through Food.ee.
3. Analyse website performance with aggregated, pseudonymous statistics.
4. Send service-related e-mails (e.g., order or inquiry follow-ups).
5. Send promotional e-mails only where we have your express or implied consent, with a one-click unsubscribe link in each message (CASL).
4. Cookies & Analytics
1. Peakedpies.com sets first-party cookies for basic functionality.
2. We load Google Analytics 4, which stores its own cookies and may process data on servers outside Canada.
3. You can block cookies in your browser: core site functions will remain available.

1. Our website uses TLS Encryption to ensure your visit and inquiry submission is safe.
2. Cloud services with industry-standard safeguards.
3. Payment data is handled exclusively by Food.ee’s PCI-DSS-compliant systems or payment processors.
These measures satisfy PIPA’s requirement to protect personal information “in a manner appropriate to its sensitivity.”
7. Your Rights (PIPA)
You may:
1. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
2. Withdraw consent for marketing (unsubscribe link or e-mail).
3. Complain to the BC Information & Privacy Commissioner if concerns remain unresolved.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this notice as practices or laws change. A revised policy with a new “Effective” date replaces previous versions. Continued use of the site after an update signifies acceptance.
